Syndentos® comes in two different materials:
- In
situ all in one system hardening paste; and
- porous
granules.
Sinus
lift procedure:
This
procedure involves elevating the sinus membrane and placing Syndentos® onto the sinus floor, allowing
implants to be placed in the back part of the upper jaw. For this
"Syndentos® porous
granular" is used.
Ridge
augmentation:
In
severe cases the ridge has been reabsorbed and Syndentos® is placed to increase the ridge height and/or
width.
Filling
of extraction sockets:

Prefilling
of drilled implantation sites:
This
happen prior to placing the dental implant, in order to enhance bone to the
implant contact area.
Filling
of root canals:
After
removal of nerve(s) and rest of organic material, Syndentos® can be use to fill/repair the
canals.
