Syndentos® help dentists to able them to place larger diameter implants in ideal locations that are stable and serviceable for a long time.
 
Syndentos® also helps to establish normal volume and dimensions of bone for ideal esthetics, lip support and phonetics.

Currently available formulations:
-Powder/liquid all in one
             Syringe system
-Open mixing system:
             Bowl/spatula
-Granules in solid or
             porous form

 

Syndentos® comes in two different materials:

  1. In situ all in one system hardening paste; and
  2. porous granules.
Sinus lift procedure:
This procedure involves elevating the sinus membrane and placing Syndentos® onto the sinus floor, allowing implants to be placed in the back part of the upper jaw. For this "Syndentos® porous granular" is used.

Ridge augmentation:
In severe cases the ridge has been reabsorbed and Syndentos® is placed to increase the ridge height and/or width.

Filling of extraction sockets:

Prefilling of drilled implantation sites:
This happen prior to placing the dental implant, in order to enhance bone to the implant contact area.

Filling of root canals:
After removal of nerve(s) and rest of organic material, Syndentos® can be use to fill/repair the canals.


Syndentos® is a synthetic bone substitute material composed of calcium- and magnesium phosphates which hardens upon mixing with an aqueous solution into an apatic material. Syndentos® is highly bio-compatible and potentially resorbable by the activity of osteoclastic action.

Said material is World patented under "Magnesium-Ammonium Phosphate Cements" and all dental rights and applications out of this patent ( country-license) is granted to Syndentos® for the SE Asian countries; Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and India.
